Kununurra...the last few days 8th..9th July

We have had such a great time spending time with the Lucas family.  It’s great when the kids meet other kids and I get along so well with their Mum too.  If only they had a Mama for Mum to play with as well! Kylie and I decided it was time we revisited the ‘Hoochery’….neither of us are big drinkers especially of rum so we figured we needed some educating on the matter.  Great decision. 

We both walked away with a bottle of the delightful Cane Royale.  That night (our last night in Kununurra) Kylie invited us all over for dessert and a nightcap of our dessert rum.  We of course jumped at the chance knowing Kylies cooking. We got to know Matt a little better and I was right in my guess that he was lovely….so so lovely even (one up on Sean hey Kylie!). Amazing stamina too.  This guy gets up at 4:30 most mornings and is off to a full days work. Not bad for a guy who is almost 40.  The Lucas family head back to their home town of Darwin for Matt’s 40^th this weekend.  We wish him a ripper of a party and to see them again somewhere down the track.
