First Day Back at School

Just a quick little post to mention how relieved we are that Bells grade 6 camp to Sovereign Hill is about 1 week after our return home...thank goodness!  

The word is getting around about our upcoming trip and we are receiving many suggestions on what to do and where to stop at.  Teachers are informed, Principal sends her blessings and Tom is all sorted.

This is Tom...

He is a very spoilt boy and a big part of our family, coming everywhere with us.  But this time he will be staying on Phillip Island with friends. 

 But when this is your back yard staying at home is not that bad....

Meet Rosey!

As of yesterday this is now our chariot for our three month magical journey! 

Rosey is a lovely lady who will carry us on our journey in sublime comfort.  

Yesterday we also booked our return flights from Melbourne to Darwin.....we are so excited now...it's really happening!!

The scary step today for Bells is her first day in grade 6 and seeing whether she misses out on her school camp or not.  I know she will be disappointed initially but once we are on the road and she sees what amazing sights we will be experiencing I know it will not bother her.

Now to begin gathering peoples tales and personal experiences to begin mud mapping our adventure.....any suggestions from people will be greatly appreciated.
