Alice Springs...

Please ignore the associated dates.....as you can probably tell I am way out of date.  Lets just say it is almost two weeks ago that we headed for Yulara....I can source actual dates via Mums diary if anyone REALLY wants to know :)

So with Nick on board we headed towards the magical area of Yulara...On the way we stopped at Curtain Springs and the kids had a quick camel ride....funny to watch :)

We found a wickedly lovely place to rest for the night called 'Desert Oaks' (for all the Casuarina's around).  First thing Toli and Nick did was wander into the bush collecting firewood - felt a bit wrong at first but apparently this is what you do.  Doesn't seem to be any real regulations on protecting the roadside ground litter.
